Headed up by new office manager Saira Ahmed, she will oversee the smooth running of contracts for the business.

She says: “We are anticipating huge demand for our solutions in the North East, where we are already working across the medical, education, hospitality and commercial-property industries.”

Newly-appointed commercial director for the northern region Michael Nesbit, 33, comes from a background in the building and quantity surveying industries. He comments: “It’s exciting to be joining TNA at this time and building the business from scratch. Our ambition is to take it to a multi-million pound company within the coming years.”

Company director Dominic Mooney, 35, adds: “There is a wealth of opportunity for us here in the north and we are in good shape to take on large-scale MEP contracts. So much so that we have already started work on lighting projects at four primary schools via Northumberland County Council which has been a great start and supports our steady growth plans.” 

“We expect to add more than 100 jobs to this office in the next five years.”

Speaking of the growth across the North East, Saira adds: “Due to the number of clients that our teams were already working with, it made absolute sense for us to open our second office.

“What’s even more exciting is that the new office supports our committed growth strategy and will allow us to accommodate personnel development and service a greater client base with local people.
